Most of today’s deployed wind turbines are based on relatively old technology.  These devices, designed primarily for moderate to brisk-velocity winds, are highly susceptible to storm damage and usually installed at least 100-150 feet above ground level. NPC has developed a series of storm-proof, low-velocity wind concepts that emphasize generating electricity in urban environments.

Water is more than 800 times more dense than air.  To capture the enormous power of moving water, NPC specializes in development of new ocean energy capture technologies that are simple, rugged, reliable, and inexpensive to build, install, and maintain.  Utilizing specially coated, lightweight, and debris-resistant materials, NPC has created unique ways to harness the power of waves, tidal flow, ocean current and river streams.

In addition to wind and water technologies, NPC has developed many new concepts for extracting energy from solar and geothermal heat sources.

NPC technology demonstration videos of prototype tests, computer models, and fully rendered animations are available for review by request.
